35mm Film Stills

I learned film through films and scissors. Three one-minute exercises shot on 35mm celluloid in Sight and Sound at Wesleyan, edited by literally cutting the film by hand and taping it back together at the rewind bench — no timeline, no undo. The reels are long gone, but these three frames still hold what I was reaching for.
